“The shape of things to come”. This was the motto under which Rado introduced the True Square collection. And what was to come would be an array of exquisite timepieces, the latest of which is this, the True Square Skeleton.
Cast in the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s (38 x 44.2 mm) monobloc high-tech ceramic case, each True Square Skeleton variation features a split-level dial, replete with a cut-away top plate providing a fascinating view of the skeletonised movement, Rado’s R808 calibre movement. The automatic unit offers a generous power reserve of 80 hours.
Three hues are available: black, plasma, and white. The former two models feature an anthracite-coated minute-wheel bridge to contrast with the nickel colour scheme of the bottom dial plate and its Côtes de Genève decoration. However, bar their case’s finishes, they are set apart by rose gold- (on the black iteration) and silver-coloured hands and indexes (on the plasma derivative). The white version grabs attention with its gold-coloured centre wheel bridge. This reference’s hands and indexes are coated in a yellow gold hue.
