Engaged in the same quest for ultimate mechanical performance, in partnership with BWT Alpine F1 Team, Bell & Ross has released a brand-new limited-edition timepiece. Meet the BR 03-92 A522 …
Limited to only 999 pieces, the BR 03-92 A522, named for the Formula One outfit’s racecar (the A522), completes the luxury watchmaker’s series of Alpine timepieces. The watch subtly adopts the F1 team’s hues and graphics while meeting the specifications of the team’s drivers, Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon. In addition, the BR 03-92 A522 reinterprets different sources of inspiration, such as the steering wheel and chassis.
The “sporty” timepiece also takes design cues from the racecar’s speedometer. The dial’s colours are the amalgamation of Bell & Ross’ black and Alpine’s blue. The black dial features contrasting white numerals coated with Super-LumiNova. The Italic typography “conveys the idea of speed and dynamism”. A small blue/white/red flag sited above the date window at 6 o’clock recalls Alpine’s tricolour origins.
The dial is housed in a 42 mm matte-black ceramic case offering water resistance at depths of up to 100 metres. The watch is equipped with Bell & Ross’ BR-CAL.302. movement. The automatic mechanical unit provides functions such as hours, minutes, seconds and dates.
Pricing is available on request. For more information on this limited-edition watch, visit Bell & Ross’ website here.
