Bell & Ross BR-X5

Spotlight on the new Bell & Ross BR-X5

The BR-X5 introduces a new chapter in the story of Bell & Ross’ BR 05 collection. We take a closer look at the variations of the Parisian luxury watchmaker’s latest timepiece…

BR-X5 BLACK STEEL
Ref. BRX5R-BL-ST/SST

This variant is distinguished by its sunray black dial, bautifully contrasted by Super-Luminova-filled hour and minute hands and indices. The latter hue has also been applied to 60-minute scale of the black flange. The lettering indicating the watch’s water-resistance rating (100 metres) has been finished in red, as has the first marker on 9 o’clock-sited power-reserve scale. When fully wound, the BR-CAL.323. automatic movement, employed by all BR-X5 models, keeps time for approximately 70 hours. The self-winding unit is housed in a 41 mm satin-finished and polished steel case, replete with a bracelet fashioned from the same material. A black rubber strap is also available.

BR-X5 ICE BLUE
Ref. BRX5R-IB-ST/SST

Sporting a shimmering ice blue dial, this derivative is sure to brighten up your wrist, during the day and, with its Super-LumiNova-filled hour and minute hands and indices, at night. The 41 mm steel case incorporates a steel bracelet. However, for an added touch of colour, a rubber strap matching the dial’s ice blue hue is available.

BR-X5 CARBON ORANGE
Ref. REF: BRX5R-BO-TC/SRB

Only 500 pieces of the BR-X5 Carbon Orange is available. So, what sets this model apart from its stablemates? For starters, as its name would suggest, it features a carbon-fibre bezel insert and subtle orange accents. However, the most significant difference is the material from which its case is crafted — grade 2 titanium, replete with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) finish. In addition, this reference isn’t, like the BR-X5 Black Steel and Ice Blue Steel, available with a steel bracelet. Instead, it’s exclusively presented on a bright orange rubber strap.
