Oris Aquis Small Second Date

Oris releases new Aquis Small Second Date

Available in a new size, the latest addition to Oris’ Aquis Small Second Date collection continues to live up to its namesake’s ‘go-anywhere’ prerequisites.

Sporting a 45.5 mm, multi-piece stainless steel case, replete with ceramic bezel insert, the new-size Aquis Small Second Date, as its name would suggest, features a small-seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The day is displayed through a window sited at the opposide side, at the 3 o’clock marker, of the blue dial, visible through domed sapphire crystal. The case back is crafted from stainless steel.

As this is a ‘go-anywhere’ diver’s watch, it boasts all the facets required by those wanting to dive deep into the deep blue, with Super-LumiNova luminescence providing maximum legibility and the movement ticking at water depths of up to 500 metres (200 metres more than the traditional Aquis Date models). Speaking of the movement, the 45.5 mm Aquis Small Second Date is equipped with the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s Oris 743 automatic unit. The power reserve is rated at 41 hours.
