Louis Vuitton is pleased to unveil its latest Women’s Fashion campaign, as embodied by House Ambassadors Deepika Padukone, Hoyeon and Léa Seydoux, and actress, Elaine Zhong.
Four independent women traverse the cityscape of Paris, each living the capital differently in attitude and style, yet with a common spirit of adventure. Lensed by photographer Ethan James Green and filmed by director Quentin Saunier, each actress brings a contemporary vision of femininity, notably to the bag she carries.
Across emblematic Parisian locations and showcasing looks from the Women’s Fall Winter 2023 collection, the campaign spots Hoyeon with her GO-14 slung over her shoulder as she pauses with a bicycle on the Pont Alexandre III, or catches Deepika Padukone standing on the rooftop of the Palais Galliera. The Eiffel Tower in the background, her GO-14 in contrasting colours blends sophistication with a sense of playfulness and echoes the latticework of France’s most celebrated monument.
Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, as a tribute to the ingenuity of Louis Vuitton’s master trunkmakers, the GO-14 bag reprises the savoir-faire behind malletage, the cross-hatched motif of the lid lining inside Louis Vuitton trunks.
Opting for the scenic route with her Capucines on the passenger side, Léa Seydoux drives down the picturesque Rue Galliera, while Elaine Zhong appears with a crisp white version of the feminine classic as she wanders through the courtyard of the Palais Galliera.
The Capucines, another iconic design of the Maison, pays tribute to Louis Vuitton’s first store, opened in 1854 on the Rue Neuve-des-Capucines. Though simple in appearance, this timeless shape possesses a complex structure that requires unparalleled savoir-faire to create.
