Limited to only 600 pieces, the TAG Heuer Monaco Night Driver pays tribute to the racing spirit of its iconic blue forebear. A “legend in the making”, this new two-tone grey piece features a luminescent blue outer dial and chronograph counters, illuminating the time no matter how late in the evening you go for a drive. The stunning dial is housed in a 39 mm case, crafted from DLC-coated titanium, the latter of which has also been used for the fixed bezel.
The sapphire case back reveals what drives this Monaco, TAG Heuer’s in-house-developed Calibre Heuer 02 automatic chronograph movement. The self-winding unit beats at 28 800 vph (4 Hz) to provide a generous power reserve of 80 hours. The watch is presented on a black leather strap, replete with a double-security folding clasp, made from grade 5 titanium. The Monaco Night Driver is priced at R200 000.
