Volkswagen South Africa has released pricing for the new-generation, single-cab Amarok models. See pricing below…

The Amarok Single Cab is a key model for increasing our volumes and market share in the rental and corporate segments as well as supporting our Sub- Saharan Africa growth plan by retailing in key African markets,” said Mark Handley, Head of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
VW AMAROK SINGLE-CAB ENGINES
Two 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engines are employed across the three-strong local line-up. The first unit produces 110 kW and 350 Nm of torque. This model has a claimed average fuel consumption of 6.9 L/100 km. The second unit, producing 125 kW is coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox. VW’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is available with the 125 kW model. The latter, all-wheel-drive model has a claimed fuel consumption figure of 7.1 L/100 km, while the two-wheel-drive, 125 kW variant sips 6.9 L/100 km.
VW AMAROK SINGLE-CAB SPECIFICATIONS
The 110 kW model sits on 16-inch steel wheels (a full-size spare is included). This variant also ships with LED headlamps, a height-adjustable driver seat, and six airbags. Further included are a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replete with wireless App-Connect, an 8.0-inch partial active-info display for the instrument cluster, a multifunction steering wheel, front centre armrest, and electronically folding side mirrors. The 125 kW versions further gains 17-inch Combra alloy wheels, a rear diff lock, trailer hitch, raised suspension and improved payload capacity (“over” 1.2 tonnes).

As standard, all derivatives whip with a four-year/120 000 km warranty. The 125 kW models further gain VW’s three-year/60 000 km Easy Drive service plan. The single-cab Amarok will baie available at dealers from the end of May 2023.
