In celebration of King Charles III’s coronation, which took place on 6 May, 2023, British luxury watchmaker Bremont has released a limited edition MBII. Based on Bremont’s iconic MB design, from first glance, the MBII King Charles III Limited Edition Black might look like a traditional Bremont MB. However, turn the watch around, and you’ll notice its significance. The back of the 43 mm stainless steel Trip-Tick case features the King Charles III coronation emblem, making this timepiece a noteworthy addition to those who want to commemorate the special event.
The dial is fashioned from metal and finished in black. The white hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova with blue luminescence, as is the purple seconds hand.
Housed within the case, which provided water resistance of up to 100 metres, is Bremont’s modified calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-36AE. The movement offers a power reserve of 38 hours.
Matching the dial is a black calf leather strap, replete with stitching of the same hue. The buckle is of the pin variety.
Limited to only 100 pieces, the Bremont MBII King Charles III Limited Edition Black will be individually hand-assembled upon order. The watch ships with a complimentary King Charles III commemorative coin.
