La Motte Wine Estate in Franschhoek is reopening this December with a refreshed guest experience that blends its rich heritage with new offerings. This gentle reintroduction, leading up to a grand launch in 2025, marks La Motte’s journey toward a renewed brand identity deeply connected to the land and community.

The revamped estate offers a variety of elevated, accessible experiences celebrating La Motte’s French and South African roots. Visitors can explore a welcoming tasting room, a family-friendly brasserie, a curated farm shop, and Ateljee, a creative hub showcasing local art and craftsmanship.

Key Highlights of the Reimagined La Motte Experience:

L’Ami Family Brasserie
A warm, elegant space for enjoying meals made from seasonal, farm-sourced ingredients. L’Ami celebrates friendship and family with a menu that blends French and South African flavours. Open Wednesday to Sunday, with a children’s menu available.

Wine Experience
The Tasting Room offers a serene space to explore La Motte’s wines, complemented by seasonal experiences that highlight the art of winemaking and the beauty of the estate.
