The Cocoon – A One-Day Immersive Experience for Women

South Africa will welcome internationally renowned women’s leadership mentor and visionary Cathy Coyle for a rare, one-day immersive experience titled The Cocoon, taking place on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at the Retreat Centre at Boschendal Wine Estate.

At a time when burnout, identity shifts and leadership fatigue are increasingly shaping the lived experience of women, The Cocoon offers a grounded yet visionary space for embodied transformation. This marks Coyle’s first immersive experience of this nature on South African soil.

A respected women’s leadership guide and PhD candidate in transpersonal and integral psychology, Coyle’s work bridges somatic intelligence, ecological awareness and consciousness studies. Internationally recognised for guiding women through profound life and leadership transitions, her practice weaves together the mythic, the scientific and the deeply embodied.

The Cocoon is designed as a living architecture for transformation. Inspired by the natural cocoon as a site of intelligent re-patterning, where old structures dissolve and new capacities quietly emerge—the experience invites participants into a protected field of nervous system regulation, somatic listening, ecological attunement and expanded states of awareness.

Rather than offering prescriptive frameworks, the immersion creates the conditions for inner reorganisation. Through guided breathwork, embodied awareness practices and visionary praxis, participants are supported in accessing deeper perceptual intelligence and reorienting from within.

Hosted by Manifest Productions, a Cape Town-based initiative curating international thought leadership experiences in South Africa, the programme includes a seasonal soil-to-fork lunch and is intentionally limited in capacity to preserve depth, intimacy and transformation potential.

This experience is designed for women navigating meaningful thresholds, leaders, creatives and visionaries who sense they are between versions of themselves and are seeking both grounded and expansive support.
