Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival

The Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival is heading to a new home in Durban this October, bringing a full day of South African wine, food and live entertainment to Sugar Rush Park in Ballito on the 3rd of October.

The festival is a chance to sample wines from around 50 leading South African wine estates, with everything from reds and whites to rosé, Cap Classique and Champagne. Alongside the tastings, there will be plenty of food to enjoy, with options ranging from burgers, pizzas and curries to oysters, sushi and other snacks.

There is also a Pick n Pay Tasting Room experience for those looking for something a little more intimate, with guided wine and food pairing sessions hosted by a chef, wine expert and featured producer. Live music and the general festival atmosphere round out the day, making it as much about spending time with friends as it is about discovering your next favourite bottle.

With general access beginning at 1pm and the festival running until 6pm, it makes for an easy Saturday outing, whether you want to spend the afternoon working your way through the wine stands or simply enjoy some good food and music in the sunshine.
