My Ex’s Tears at Cellar Collective

This August, Cape Town wine and conversation lovers are in for an unforgettable experience. My Ex’s Tears – Live Interactive Panel Discussion with Wine Tasting and Live Entertainment will take place on Sunday, 31 August 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Cellar Collective, 111 Sir Lowry’s Road, Cape Town.

More than just a wine tasting, this event takes inspiration from the name of the local wine brand, My Ex’s Tears, using it as the theme for an open, tell-all conversation about life’s ended connections – from ex-relationships and ex-friendships to situationships and other ex chapters.

The event will feature a dynamic panel of personalities:
Kyle Lestrade – Content producer, foodie, and wine enthusiast
Blu (Thobani Salum Nih) – Wine enthusiast
Zoe Human – Co-Host on SAFTA winning Politically Aweh, Presenter on SAFTA nominated Ekse and entertainment reporter on Expresso

Adding to the atmosphere, guests will also be entertained by Judah, a talented vocal artist specializing in jazz music, providing live music to complement the evening’s mood.

Guests can sip and savour while engaging in open, lively, and at times hilarious conversation. The R350 ticket price includes a hearty shared-style meal, a charcuterie board, table snacks, My Ex’s Tears wine tasting, and live jazz music — making it as indulgent for your taste buds and ears as it is for your curiosity.

“We wanted to create an event that pairs great wine with even greater conversations — a space where people can laugh, reflect, and maybe even heal a little over a glass of My Ex’s Tears,” says Kyle Lestrade, event host and panellist.
