Chester’s Got Talent

What happens when you put a group of puppets into a talent competition and give the audience the power to decide who wins? You get Chester’s Got Talent, Conrad Koch’s latest show featuring his famous puppet, Chester Missing.
The internationally acclaimed South African ventriloquist brings the production to audiences in the Western Cape and Johannesburg from September, with the show running at venues in Durbanville, Johannesburg and Strand. The premise is simple enough: Conrad wants his puppets to compete to be the very best, but Chester Missing has other ideas. As usual, Chester is more interested in saying exactly what he thinks than following the rules.
Alongside Chester, audiences can expect characters including Gunter the German mosquito, Hilton the dramatic ostrich, DJ Hoodie and Mr Dixon the high school teacher, as well as a surprise guest appearance.

It is a show that mixes ventriloquism, comedy and audience participation, making it an easy choice for a fun night out. With the audience getting to judge the puppets themselves, expect plenty of chaos along the way.
