Step into Belgium without leaving Cape Town! The Belgian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Consulate General of Belgium in Cape Town, proudly presents the 14th Taste of Belgium Market on Saturday, 15 November 2025, from 10:00 AM, at the Belgian Residence, Newlands.

This annual celebration of Belgian culture is a feast for all the senses. Enjoy authentic Belgian flavours, from sweet waffles and fine chocolates to hearty stews, fresh mussels, and the country’s iconic gourmet fries. Belgian beers take centre stage, alongside a selection of wines and spirits, all proudly crafted by Belgian producers.

Beyond the culinary delights, explore a curated craft market brimming with handmade goods, gifts, and unique creations from both Belgian and local artisans—perfect for early holiday shopping or a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Whether you’re a longtime admirer of Belgian culture or discovering it for the first time, the Taste of Belgium Market offers a warm, welcoming experience for all ages.

Family Fun and Entertainment

The market is a day out for the whole family. Kids can enjoy jumping castles, face painting, and sand art stations, while everyone else relaxes to live acoustic folk-rock by The Incidentals, adding a festive soundtrack to a day full of flavours, crafts, and cheer.
