Limited to only 200 pieces, this Big Bang’s vibrant hue will help you escape the winter blues.
It may be winter in Southern Africa; however, a glance at the latest reference in Hublot’s Big Bang collection will make you feel that summer is right around the corner, with its light blue, 42 mm, satin-finished and -polished ceramic case. The bezel, replete with the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s signature H-shaped titanium screws, is crafted from the same avant-garde, high-tech material.
Displayed through anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the grey skeleton dial, replete with white numerals and indices, constrasts with the dominent colour scheme. The 3 o’clock sub-dial adds a touch of blue, while those with a keen eye will notice the white “Hublot” lettering and logo at 12 o’clock are subtly highlighted by light-blue accents.
The clear summer’s sky theme continues to the rubber strap, with the latter item, complete with titanium deployant buckle clasp, featuring a white and light-blue lining. In addition, this special edition ships with an additional white calf leather and Velcro strap.
Inside, Hublot’s HUB1280 UNICO movement keeps time. The self-winding chronograph flyback unit offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The water resistance is rated at 100 metres.
The Ref. 441.EX.5120 is priced at CHF 22 600, which, at the current Rand-Swiss Franc exchange rate, translates to R460 694.89.
