Evoking long-distance travel across time zones, the latest pieces in Rolex’s exquisite GMT-Master II collection highlight our connection to the world. The duo of new variants are adorned with 18-carat yellow gold and Rolesor, the latter of which comprising a combination of yellow gold and stainless steel. A first for the GMT-Master II, the bidirectional bezel, replete with 24-hour monobloc insert, features an entirely new colour combination, grey and black ceramic.
Thanks to its conventional display and arrow-tipped 24-hour hand, the GMT-Master II allows its wearer to read the time in two separate time zones. In addition, these new iterations are set apart from their stablemates with 18-carat yellow gold hands and hour markers to provide an elegant contrast with the black lacquered dial.
These versions are exclusively presented on the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s Jubilee bracelet. According to Rolex, “The harmonious contrast between the gleaming gold of the Jubilee bracelet and the two-colour bezel, with its dark, muted tones, evokes the path of the sun and the alternation of day and night.”
