Inspired by an “iconic” racing livery, this new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph reinforces its namesake’s connection to motorsport.
The Ref. CBN2044.FC8313’s 42 mm case — coupled with a black alligator strap with an 18-carat 3N yellow gold buckle — is crafted from fine-brushed and polished 3N gold. The crown is moulded from 18-carat 3N solid yellow gold, as is the case back, which also features sapphire crystal through which the automatic movement can be viewed. The sunray-brushed black dial features 18-carat 3N-plated yellow gold chronograph counters, hour markers and hands. TAG Heuer says this gives the watch an edge of striking luxury.
The in-house Calibre Heuer 02 column-wheel chronograph features a black oscillating mass. The self-winding unit offers a power reserve of 80 hours. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres.
