Executive Chef Jason Kosmas invites you to indulge in a journey of flavours designed to elevate your Sunday late morning. “Our legendary brunch is a set menu crafted to deliver a unique Pot Luck experience,” Kosmas explains. “It’s a time for guests to relax and savour each moment while we cater to their culinary desires.”
Picture yourself settling in with a choice between Bottomless Bubbly, including Boschendal’s elegant Brut and Rosé Cap Classiques, or crafting your perfect Bloody Mary at their renowned DIY station. Enhance your drink with house-infused vodkas and an array of spices and garnishes, all expertly prepared by talented mixologists.
The extravaganza begins with freshly shucked West Coast oysters, a prelude to a series of snack-sized courses bursting with flavour. Each dish is meticulously prepared to delight the senses, from buttery brioche with quail egg and porcini hollandaise to a luxurious English muffin with lobster. The curry lamb shank taco with parsnip cream and mint salsa stands out, offering comforting yet vibrant flavours.
As you move through the experience, you’ll encounter signature dishes like the Arnold Bennett open omelette with smoked haddock, followed by a palate-cleansing Salad course showcasing the freshest market finds of the week.
As the brunch progresses, Kosmas will present a hearty main course, often starring succulent duck served family-style with a selection of sides, from beetroot tarte tatin to roast vegetables. “It’s about creating a homely atmosphere with a touch of something special,” Kosmas remarks. “Guests should feel at ease, chatting, helping themselves, and enjoying seconds—it’s laid-back and inviting.”

Brunch at The Pot Luck Club will be served every Sunday from 11:00 AM. Priced at R1250 per person, inclusive of the full menu, Bottomless Bubbles, and the DIY Bloody Mary Station, the Winter Extravaganza runs from 7 July to 29 September 2024, with summer brunches resuming from October to April 2025.
