Patek Philippe has expanded its Calatrava collection with a trio of new white gold pieces, each sporting a dynamic appeal. However, although not necessarily driver’s watches, these models — with their contrasting colour accents and carbon-look motifs on the dial and calfskin leather strap — do have sporty feel. Yet, unlike several other sports watches, these three Calatrava models forms a perfect balance between dynamic looks and sophistication, making them ideal for any event.
Finished in black, the dial, housed in a 40 mm case, offering water resistance at depths of up to 30 metres, fashioned from white gold, is distinguished by its rythmic geometry. White luminescent coating has been applied to the gold numerals. The date window is located at the 3 o’clock marker.
The Ref. 6007G-001, Ref. 6007G-010 and Ref. 6007G-011 feature touches of yellow, red, and sky blue, respectively. The application of these highlights add vibrance to these Calatravas. These hues have been carried over to the contrast stiching on the strap, replete with a ‘Prong’ buckle, and its back.
The transparent, sapphire-crystal case back displays the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s Calibre 26‑330 S C. The self-winding movement features a 21-carat gold central rotor. The balance spring is of the Spiromax variety. A power reserve between 35 and 45 hours is on offer.
