lelive reveals new Nature Capsule

Local skincare brand launches new anti-aging eye cream and face oil, made with African botanicals, peptides and bakuchiol – a retinol-alternative

Local, all-natural skincare brand lelive has unveiled two new products in their Nature Capsule, namely Eye-conic, a peptide + coffee arabica eye cream and African Gold, a peptide, bakuchiol + African oil elixir.

Du Pont says that the new products bring a more diverse perspective to the range, “We realised that our community ranged far broader in age than we had initially thought and for the most part, consumers of all ages were very concerned about combatting signs of ageing as early on as possible.” Du Pont says she’s very excited for the inclusion of bakuchiol, a natural retinol alternative, as it supports the lelive objective to offer safer, more natural ingredient alternatives that she says are just as effective.

Speaking about the new products, du Pont says that the eye-conic is her magic ‘sleep in a bottle’ – a gentle but effective peptide and coffee complex that depuffs and re-energises the eye area. “This product is produced with peptides and African mahogany that both help to stimulate collagen production. We also ‘super-charged’ the formulation with vitamin e and niacinamide to promote a smoother, well-rested, glowing eye area.”

The second product launched in this capsule is African Gold African oil elixir which helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles as well as assist in fading of dark spots. African gold is an ultra-nourishing oil elixir developed with sustainably sourced African oils like Baobab and rosehip that replenish valuable fatty acids. The product is synergised with bakuchiol – a gentle, pregnancy-safe retinol-alternative – along with peptides that stimulate collagen production that turn back the clock, re-energising, restoring, and rejuvenating the skin.
