Taste of Cape Town Festival 2026

If you love good food, great wine and discovering new places to eat, Taste of Cape Town 2026 is one to keep on your calendar. Taking place over the weekend of 28–29 November 2026 at Green Point Cricket Club, it brings together some of the best of Cape Town’s food and lifestyle scene for a weekend of eating, drinking and entertainment.

This festival is the South African edition of the international Taste Festival series, bringing together Cape Town’s restaurant scene, chefs, producers and food lovers for a weekend centred around food, drink and entertainment.

The festival will feature signature dishes from leading restaurants, with more than 120 dishes expected across the weekend, giving visitors the chance to taste their way through some of Cape Town’s most exciting kitchens all in one place. Alongside the food, there will be live culinary demonstrations, chef sessions and Cook School masterclasses.

And it isn’t just about restaurants, either. There will be an artisan food and drink market, wine and other drinks experiences, live music and entertainment, as well as premium hospitality options. Taste of Cape Town promises to “Feed Every Sense”, making the experience about the sights, smells, sounds and atmosphere of Cape Town just as much as the food itself.
