Stellenbosch Harvest Parade

Stellenbosch’s annual Harvest Parade takes place on Saturday, 31 January 2026, marking the start of the harvest season with a colourful public procession through the historic town centre.

Rooted in tradition, the parade is a moment of collective gratitude – giving thanks for the new vintage while honouring the farmers, cellar teams and winemakers who shape the region.

The procession gets underway at 09:00 from the Toy and Miniature Museum in Market Street, moving through Alexander, Bird, Church and Plein Streets before arriving at the Town Hall at 09:30 for the official blessing of the harvest. With brass bands, floats and festive dress adding to the atmosphere, it’s a vibrant, family-friendly celebration that captures the spirit of Stellenbosch.

The event is free to attend and open to the public.
