Known as South Africa’s Cabernet Sauvignon Capital, Gauteng wine enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of fine wine at the Stellenbosch Cabernet Collective’s (SCC) Cabernet Through the Ages event, set to take place at the uber stylish MESH Club on Saturday, 30 July.
Two time slots will be made available to visitors. The first, ideally suited to those wanting to learn more about this varietal, will be a Cabernet-themed Masterclass between 3pm and 5pm. For those wanting to walk around, chat to the winemakers and sample more than 40 wines on display, the walkaround tasting between 4pm and 7:30pm is perfectly suited.
The gorgeous, contemporary space of the MESH Club is ideal to explore and discover the wonders of Cabernet Sauvignon. An evening to taste current and specially selected older vintages from the Stellenbosch Cabernet Collective producers. Start your evening with a complimentary welcome drink and mingle with the winemakers whilst enjoying the unique space, music and paired snacks. This special opportunity to compare rare older vintages seldom offered to the public and is a must for all Cabernet enthusiasts.
For Cabernet aficionados we encourage you to join our international Cabernet masterclass, where you’ll get the opportunity to taste renowned sought-after international Cabernets tasted alongside with Stellenbosch examples sourced from the SCC vinoteque and presented by wine expert and acclaimed judge, Michael Fridjhon. Due to the rarity of the wines being tasted, seats are limited. The masterclass ticket price includes access to the walkaround tasting afterwards.
The ticket prices are as follows:

|Masterclass and Walkaround Tasting Ticket||:||R1 500 per person|
